There is nothing that attracts people more to a poker party than one that is hosted by celebrity players like Jamie Gold.
That is one of the names you will find in the celebrity poker party that is scheduled to be held at a private estate in Las Vegas. This celebrity party is part of Big Game Big Give’s event which will also have performances and other celebrities present. Jamie Gold, who hails from California, was last seen winning a fortune at the World Series of Poker in August at a Rio hotel.
He agreed to host the Giving Back Fund’s Big Game Big Give event where he was initially the first celebrity host to be contracted. However, the organizers soon decided that he should become one of the directors as well. Hence, it has Jamie Gold fully involved in the planning of the event and other operations that this nonprofit organization does. Jamie Gold holds his reign in the world of poker after he won the Main event in the 2006 World Series of Poker.
The organization that has recently taken Jamie in their board of directors has been operating for eight years. It offers philanthropic consulting and management services to public projects, charitable projects, projects sponsored fiscally and others. Besides Gold, Michael Phelps will also be co hosting the after party of celebrity poker. Rob Riggle of The Hangover fame will be emceeing the event and there would be a performance as well by Common. Gold says that Giving Back Fund has a twenty year old history of giving to charities. The last year’s event that was hosted helped raise about 1.6 million dollars. Local charities in Houston are usually supported by the funds raised. Gold is currently involved in planning similar events to raise funds this year and the forthcoming year.
