Jamie Gold was born on the 26th of August in the year of 1969. He has more than one profession, apart from being a poker player of professional level; he is a television producer in America and an agent of talents in America. He lives in Malibu in California. he ahs his claim to fame for he has won the main event of the series of world poker in the year of 2006. He is also the president of the production of a company of entertainment called the Buzznation and at the same time is quite active in the competitive scene of poker.

Jamie Gold took birth in the city of Kansas in Missouri. When still a child, he and his mother moved to the city of Manhattan. His birth name was Jamie M. Usher but he had to change his name to Jamie M. Gold by an order of the court after his mother married Dr. Robert Gold. He moved with his family to Paramus in New Jersey where he was raised. He did his graduation from the high school of Paramus in the year of 1987. He had a bachelor’s degree that was given to him by the University of the State of New York in Albany in the year of 1991. He was also a student of entertainment law at the UCLA.

Jamie Gold made the beginning of his career in the business of entertainment when he was all 16 years of age being an intern for the talent agency of J. Michael Bloom. Before being 21 years old, he became an agent of talent but switched to the production and management soon. He had been the agent of Lucy Liu. He was interested in the game of poker at a very young age. He had worked with the champion of poker series, Johnny Chan. in the year of 2005; he won the first major tournament of a no limit of Texas in the Bicycle Casino. He earned a sum of $54225 in that event.

Jamie Gold had finished in money in seven tournaments of California. at the series of world poker in the year of 2006, he had maintained a lead in chip from the fourth day and eventually went on to win the main event of the series of world poker in a Texas no limit hold’em with a buy-in at $10000. His style was unconventional and often criticized but they were effective at the same time.
